Organizing Tasks with Personalized Stages in Odoo

Did you know you can create personalized workflow stages for tasks assigned to you in the Odoo’s Project app?

When you access your tasks through the Project > Tasks > My Tasks​ menu, they are displayed in a Kanban view, organized by custom stages.

By default, the following stages are available:

  • Inbox
  • Today
  • This Week
  • This Month
  • Later
  • Done
  • Cancelled

But you can modify these stages or create new ones to suit your workflow.

Personalized Stages in Odoo

While many of the default stage names are time-related, tasks are not grouped by specific dates in this view. Instead, tasks assigned to you are automatically placed into the first available personal stage.
